Within the last few weeks I experienced so much and absolutely didn't feel like blogging, so I have to catch up a lot...
As you can see in the pictures in the last post my brother was visiting me in Tokyo on his way back from Australia. After some missunderstandings about his arrival time we finally met in Tokyo and spend 3 very busy and exciting days with sightseeing.
Right after that exam time started... I found out that it's about the same all over the world (talking about crowded libaries, studying at the weekend.. :-() But the big difference for me was that the results don't really matter, who cares about my marks in Japanese language... I know myself what I've learned and what not.
Right after the exams I had two days to say goodbye to all my friends, before Ueli arrived in Japan. Together with him I enjoyed my last week in Tokyo and showed him my "new life" in Japan. Of course we went again to all the famous places, luckily there were still some that I haven't been to myself. It's unbelievable, but I think you could spend 10 years in Tokyo and do diffrent stuff every weekend.
Last Saturday we started our trip through Japan and went to Takayama, a "little village" (= 70'000 inhabitants) famous for its old town and an openair museum with old Japanese farmhouses. Right now we are in Kyoto, visit the gorgeous tempels and hope for better weather for our trip to Nara tomorrow.
(it has been over 30 degress the last two weeks, but today it started to rain very havely all day long)
